"I was told my only choices were surgery that wouldn't fix the problem, or living with the pain. I refused to accept either."

My Full Story

I know exactly what it feels like to feel trapped in your own body. After a high school softball collision left me with a misdiagnosed knee injury, I spent years masking the pain with endless ibuprofen just to get through classes and practice. At 20, a doctor told me I had two choices: a surgery that wouldn’t actually fix the root cause, or simply accepting a life of chronic pain and early joint degeneration.

I refused to accept that dead end—and I don’t want you to accept it either.

By shifting to a holistic approach rooted in strength training and targeted rehabilitation, I completely rebuilt my knee. Today, I am entirely pain-free, running, playing, and coaching. I became a professional in this field because no one should ever feel defeated by a diagnosis. You deserve to reclaim your health, and I'm here to show you that there are always better options.

Kinvara is personal. The word 'kin' means family, community — and in some contexts, movement. That's exactly the kind of space I wanted to build: one that's safe, welcoming, and centered on moving well together.

Kinvara is also a small town in Ireland, and after losing my grandmother in 2024 and my mother in 2026, naming this practice became a way to carry them with me — and to honor everyone who has shown up for me along the way.

This isn't just a business name. It's a tribute, and a promise: you're part of the family here.
